Lahore: In Asia hockey cup the traditional competitors Pakistan and India will be facing each other 2^nd time on Saturday.

In the continued event Asia hockey cup the traditional competitors Pakistan and India will face each other 2^nd time on Saturday in Bangladesh capital Dhaka’s Mulana Bhashani national hockey stadium. Before this the Indian team has defeat Pakistan by 1-3 in the pool section. In the point list Indian team is on the top whereas the Pakistani team due to one loss and one draw match is at the last 4^th position.

The Pakistani team’s reaching to the final seems difficult for the reason in the 3^rd match of super four on Saturday they will be playing against India, according to Pakistan’s time the match will start in the noon at 4:30. Overall this is the 171th match between the both countries, in which Pakistan have won 82 matches whereas India has won 53 times. In the first match of the super four Malaysia beat Pakistan by 2-3 whereas against South Korea the match got draw due to 1-1 goal.

Before this in the first pool Pakistan beated the host team Bangladesh by 0-7, in the 2^nd match against Japan got draw by 2-2 whereas in the 3^rd match against India got beaten up by 3-1, on Saturday the 2^nd super four round match will be played between Malaysia and South Korea. The Malaysian team is the favorite team for the finals because they have beaten Pakistan in the starting round.

Keep that in mind that the top 2 teams from both pools in the super four round will be playing against each other. The teams on the 1^st number from both pools will play final in October, 22 on Saturday, whereas the remaining 2 teams will get the bronze medal.

In the matches being played on the Saturday the Japan team beated the host team Bangladesh by 0-4 and got the 4^th position, and china beated Oman by 2-3 and got the 7^th position.
