Zimbabwe won the toss and played first and it scored 194 runs in the 49.2overs for all out. It gave the target of 195 runs to Pakistan. When Pakistani team started the batting, Fakhar Zaman and Imam ul Haq came to the crease and they started the inning with great confidence. Pakistan got the target of 195 runs in 36 overs for the loss of only one wicket. Fakhar Zaman and Imam ul Haq provided the opening partnership of 119 runs but the century maker of the first ODI, Imam ul Haq got out at 44 runs and after him, Babar Azam came on the wicket and he started the batting with Fakhar Zaman and took Pakistan to the victory in the second ODI.

Fakhar Zaman is the in-form batsman and he played the tremendous strokes on all sides and he completed his second century in the one day international cricket. When the match was finished, Fakhar Zaman was at the 117 runs not out and Babar Azam scored 29 runs.

When Zimbabwe started its batting, Burachari and Chamu Chibhabha started the inning but both openers returned to pavilion at the total 18 runs. After that Masakanda and Masakadza increased the score of the team and they developed the partnership of 65 runs. Masakadza scored 59 runs while Masakanda made 24 runs. After that Peter Moore advanced the inning and he completed his fifty abut no other Zimbabwean batsmen could not stay on the wicket for long time and made good score for his team.  The whole team was out on 194 runs in 49.2overs.

Pakistani Team Won

Pakistani pacers bowled well and Usman Khan Shinwari took 4 wickets while Hassan Ali got 3 wickets and Shoaib Malik got 1 wicket. Two Zimbabwean players were run out. Muhammad Amer, Faheem Ashraf and Shadab Khan bowled well but they could not get the wickets. Fakhar Zaman is declared the man of the match. Now Pakistan has the lead of 2-0 in the 5 ODI series.
