The captain of Pakistan hockey team, Fareed Ahmed said that they will take Malaysia as easy target in the semi final and they will show their good performance in the match against Malaysia. He hoped that they will not come under pressure as the players of the national team are now in form after losing after two matches and now they are in position to win the final match.

He said that it is his wish to compete with the traditional competitor, India in the final of the event and they will defeat India and defend their title. He also said that they have learnt a lot from this event and it helps their players to improve their performance.
