Chris Gayle signed an agreement with Chittagong Vikings for five matches and Shoaib Malik will also part of the same side.
Sohail Tanveer and Imad Waseem will represent Komila Victorians in BPL. There are 31 players, who have signed their agreements with the 7 franchises before the schedule draft on 30 September. Misbah Ul Haq, Muhammad Hafeez and Ahmed Shahzad will participate in the draft.
According to the detail, the next edition of BPL will be started from 04 November and the draft of the players is scheduled on 30 September. Rangpur Riders got the services of Shahid Afridi, who represented Sylhet in the previous edition. The players like Sharjeel Khan, Babar Azam, Muhammad Shahzad, Dowsan Shanaka, West Indian batsman, Gadron Pop and English pacer, Richard Glassen will be part of this team.
The defending champion, Komila Victorians has signed the agreements with Imad Waseem, Sohail Tanveer and Thisara Parera and they also maintained their previous players, Ashar Zaidi and Nowan Kolasekara. Imad is playing the BPL for the first time but Sohail played the previous edition from Rangpur. Chittagong signed the agreement with Chris Gayle, who will play only last five matches of the event and Shoaib Malik is also part of this team. Muhammad Sami is included in the Rajshahi team.
Pak test captain, Misbah Ul Haq, Muhammad Hafeez and Ahmed Shahzad will be included in the draft and they will be included in the A category of the international players. The maximum salary limit of the A category players is 70 thousand dollar, while B, C and D category players can get 50, 40 and 30 thousand dollars respectively.
