He was playing the third one day international match against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club and his bowling action was declared suspected. The match officials analyzed the video and they declared his bowling action alleged. In his second one day international match, he was declared man of the match because of his tremendous performance. ICC said that Bilal Asif has to do the suspected bowling action test within two weeks. Before receiving the test report, he will be allowed to bowl in the matches. Before him, two Pak spin bowlers, Saeed Ajmal and Muhammad Hafeez are banned due to expected bowling action.
