Kumar Sangakkara announced Retirement from Test Cricket

Sri Lankan batsman Kumar Sangakkara announced his retirement from test cricket also. He has also announced his retirement from ODI cricket after world cup 2015. Left-handed Sangakkara is in prime form these days. He has scored three consecutive centuries in the world cup while he is at top with 372 runs in 5 innings. He also completed his 14000 runs in one day cricket after scoring 104 runs against Australia. He said that he will leave test cricket at the end of August 2015. The scheduled 3 test match series against India will be the last test series for the 37 years old batsman. He said that he will play test cricket till August 2015 and his test career will finish in the end of August 2015. So far, Sangakkara has scored 12203 runs in 130 test matches with the average of 58.66 which include 38 hundreds and 51 fifties. His highest score is 319 runs.
