Muhammad Aamir wants to rejoin team on his performance
The spot fixing convicted cricket by ICC Muhammad Aamir said that he is interested about his own performance instead of others to come back in the team. Aamir said that he’s grateful to Allah and thankful to his parents and friends for their prayers and Najam Sethi and Shahriyar Khan for their efforts. He said he came in 2009 in the national team after playing domestic cricket and also now he’ll come through the same procedure.
Aamir said that several helped him during difficult time and several didn’t but he’s thankful to all of them. Fitness is the key to success and he knows what he has to do for fitness. He said performance of current team is satisfactory and the performance of batsmen has improved after coming of Grant Flower and it will help them in the upcoming world cup.
It should be cleared that amendment in ICC anti-corruption code has made it possible for Aamir to return to international cricket. M Aamir was sentenced for five years in 2010 due to spot-fixing in a test match against England. Along with him, Salman Butt was sentenced for 10 years and M Asif for 7 years.
