Pakistan beat Srilanka by 7 wickets in the first T20 match being played in Abu Dhabi.
In the first T20 being played at the Sheikh Zahid Stadium In Abu Dhabi all the Srilankan team got out on the total of 102 in the 19th over whereas the Pakistanis in reply completed the target within 18 over’s by losing just 3 wickets.
From the Pakistani side Ahmed Shehzad and Fakhar Zaman came as openers but Fakhar Zaman got out on 6 runs after which Babar Azam came to the ground but he only scored a single run whereas ahmed Shehzad scored 22 runs. Shoaib Malik scored 42 and Muhammad Hafeez got out on 25 runs.
Before all this the Pakistani captain sarfraz Ahmed won the toss and elected to field first. From the Srilankan side ghanathelaka and dilshan came as openers. But the Pakistani bowler keeping up the spirit of the ODi series and didn’t allow the Srilankan batsman to stand for long.
On the 3rd bowl of the innings Imad bold manawera and the other opener also just scored 18 runs, the samara vikrama who came on the 3rd number also just scored 23 runs after that no batsman could stand long on the wicket. Captain Thisara Perera also just scored 6 runs whereas sakigo prasna remained not out on 23 runs.
From Pakistan side Hassan Ali took 3 wickets, Muhammad Hafeez and usman khan got 2 wickets each, whereas Imad Waseem, Faheem ashraf and Shahdab khan took 1 wicket.
Keep that in mind that after clean sweep by Srilanka in test series Pakistan has leveled the situation by clean sweep in ODi series.
