Pakistan following taking an incontrovertible3-1 lead in the series opposed to Sri Lanka has currently been headed Zimbabwe along with an offer to perform at T20 series instead of ODIs, on Friday the source reported.
In accordance to the Zimbabwe Cricket Union, Pakistan team has not yet signed a MoU to play the series in August.
Recently the West Indies was invited to perform a tri-series while Pakistan team was expected to visit Zimbabwe for a bilateral visit in the month of August.
Pakistani team now spotted on the 8th position along with 90 points when the West Indies team is spotted at 9th on the International Cricket Council’s ODI team rankings.
If the West Indies is not appointed for a series in Zimbabwe, then Pakistan team is definitely going to have an easy qualify for the 2017 Champions Trophy which expected to be carried out in England even if they are succeeded to win the final ODI from Sri Lanka in the currently 5 match series.
