Umar and Ahmed Shahzad Out from PSL



It has been decided that Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shahzad would be released from the third edition of Pakistan Super League. According to the sources, Lahore Qalandar team has decided to drop Umar Akmal from the PSL.

Quetta Gladiators has also decided to make some big changes in the team for the next season. The management of the Quetta team decided to drop the players like Umar Gul, Ahmed Shahzad and Luke Right. Pakistan Super League will conduct the draft of the players for the third edition on 16 October in Lahore. Every team of PSL will retain 10 players and they will drop 10 players till 30 September and they will send the list to the board on 2 October 2017. The teams have started the new process of preparation of their squads and the teams like Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators have decided to released the important players from the teams.

Now the sixth team, Multan Sultan is prepared and now the remaining five teams will have to release their players till 5 October and they will have to release at least 10 players from their squads.

Lahore Qalandars has decided to retain the captain Brian McCullum and Sunil Narine for the PSL 3 and Umar Akmal will be released. The winner of the second edition, Peshawar Zalmi will retain Hassan Ali, Wahab Riaz, Muhammad Hafeez, Junaid Khan and Muhammad Asghar but they did not make the final decision which of the players will be released from their team.
