Voices Being Raised Taking Side of Sri Lankan Players

The Sri Lankan players rejected the tour of Pakistan and now voices are being raised for the Srilankan players.

The Srilankan captain opal tharanga and other top players have rejected the tour to Pakistan and this case has became a conflict, on which different opinions are coming forward, the former all rounder and commentator of the present era Russell Arnold said going to Pakistan or not going to Pakistan will be the players personal decision to make, for this case all of them have mixed up emotions, I m happy to hear that cricket is again getting started in Pakistan, especially Lahore from where Srilanka got good and bad memories.

Russell Arnold said that the Lahore incident still have some impact on the players brain,  whatever happened in 2009 is quite different from all the incidents being arose from different areas, some players have personal experience about it and some took information from the people being attacked by the terrorists blasts. It’s necessary to think about the feeling s of the players who are being included in the players who rejected the tour.

Keep in mind that only 7 players have rejected the tour to Lahore for the T2o series, and they have been dropped from the series, Russell Arnold said regarding this issue this is a correct decision, there is no problem in selecting a single team for the whole series, there is no logic of selecting 2 teams for 2 matches of a single series being played in 2 different areas.

Talking about the bad performance of the Srilankan players in the ODi series he said that the players should have played openly and showed that they also have some respect.
