Pakistan and Australia played the first test match in Dubai in the current series recently in which various stunning performance came to light. Pakistan legend batsman, Younis Khan played fantastic innings in both innings and scored centuries, which contributed in the victory of Pakistan. He is the first Pak batsman, who scored most test centuries from Pakistan in test cricket and he is leading with 26 test centuries after breaking the record of Inzamam Ul haq with 25 test centuries and Muhammad Yousaf with 24 centuries. He is the first Pakistani batsman, who scored centuries in both innings against Australia.
As ICC World Cup cricket tournament is approaching near and it will be conducted in the next year in which all test playing countries and some qualifying countries will participate. This new coming world cup will be played in Australia and New Zealand. It will be very difficult for Pakistan to play the coming ICC World Cup 2015 in the absence of most seasoned and senior players and Pakistan batting line up will not survive without presence of the senior players. Before this, in the ODI series against Australia, he was dropped from the national team and Pak national team defeated in all three matches and gave a chance to Australia to do the clean sweep. This tremendous defeat in the ODI series against Australia, PCB and the selection committee as well as Pakistan cricket team captain should review their policy and induct the senior players in the team to play the ODI match.
Younis Khan has showed his wish to play the ICC World Cup 2015, which is right and in favor of Pakistan, as this legend player has the great potential to play in the One day international and he can build up the inning of the team. He not only plays himself but also guides other junior players to perform well and build their innings with remarkable consistency in their batting. If he seems fit then he should be selected in the ODI team rather than ignore on the plea of age, cast, creed or color, which will be indiscriminating.
