During Zimbabwean tour of Pakistan, one square KM area around Gaddafi Stadium Lahore will be high security zone. There will be three security layers of rangers, ATS and police. Nearby shops will be closed while law enforcement personnel will perform their duty in and outside the stadium.
According to details, preparations are underway to welcome international cricket in Pakistan after 6 years. The guest team will be stayed in National Cricket Academy which is near to the Qaddafi Stadium and no extra measures will be required for transportation of players.
1 KM area around the stadium will be declared high security zone while tickets will be sold from any bank in the city to prevent long queues. There will be walk-through gates and cameras on all the internal paths. The parking area will be outside Fifa House which is quite far from the stadium. Only three gates will be reserved for the entry of spectators.
Non uniformed personnel will perform their duties around the venue and also inside the stadium during the matches. Detectors and trained dogs will be used to check the check the areas around the venue before every match. Zimbabwe team will play 2 T20 and 3 ODI matches in Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
