Pakistan Cricket Board has appointed wicketkeeper batsman Sarfraz Ahmed as the new captain of national T20 cricket team. PCB announced the appointment of Sarfraz Ahmed as new captain of T20 national team through a notification. The news were circulating about appointment of Sarfraz Ahmed as new captain of T20 team after resignation by former T20 captain Shahid Afridi. Sarfraz Ahmed has played 21 test matches for Pakistan while he has also shown his capabilities in the 58 ODI matches and 21 T20 matches for Pakistan. Pakistan cricket team will play its next T20 match against England after 5 months.
