The Chief Selector of National Cricket team, Inzamam ul Haq says that Shahid Afridi should perform and he may be selected in the national team, if there may be his requirement. He also said that Muhammad Aamer is very capable and talented bowler but he is not performing up to the required standard. The chief selector shows his dissatisfaction over the performance of Asad Shafique. He talks with media and said that on the better performance of the players, and the placement in the team, the players are selected in the national cricket team. If any player is showing good performance, then he will be selected in the team.
The chief selector said that it is needed to organize the talent and various new players are showing good performance in the first class cricket and these players will be called in the camp to give them training. He said that Asad Shafique possesses huge talent but he did not give enough performance. The bowling of Muhammad Aamer is excellent but he is not exposing his all of the talent to show the performance. He will come back to his old performance very soon.
Inzamam said that in the absence of Misbah ul Haq, Azhar Ali will be the captain of Pakistan cricket team. Younis Khan will guide him well and it is good chance for Azhar Ali that he can get help from the senior most player, Younis Khan. Pakistan cricket team needs patience and confidence and there are many talented coaches and he also learnt a lot from Javed Miandad. He also said that he punished Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shahzad for not complying with the discipline ad he allowed Salman Butt to play the first class cricket.
He showed his favorite players like Vivan Richards and Brian Lara and is favorite bowlers are Waseem Akram and Waqar Younis. Virat Kohli is the best player of present time and Hashim Amla also plays well. He said if Sharjeel Khan stays at the crease then he scores well and he is selected in the national test squad because of his good average. He further added that PCB is trying hard to manage the final of PSL in Pakistan and international cricket will restore in Pakistan with their initiatives. He said that Junaid Khan was made captain in the side game against West Indies but he was operated upon so he needs some time to recover his fitness and may he get his previous performance.
