Cricket Umpire Darrell Hair Theft Case

Sydney, The Australian court has accepted the bail of the ex controversial umpire of cricket of Australia in the theft case.

According to international media, the Pakistan opposed ex cricket umpire, Darrel Hair was alleged in the theft case in the Australian city, Orange. He stole the cash from the shop, where he is employed. The accused was brought to the court and he confessed his crime in the court before the judge for stealing 9,000 dollars and also the fraud case. The accused gave a statement that he is in the habit of gambling and this habit has ruined him.

Darrel Hair apologized from the owner of the shop in the court and he also returned the cash of 9,000 dollars to its owner. The court accepted his bail of 18 months for showing good character and it did not give him the punishment. However, the judge of the court said in his remarks that the ex national umpire tampered his honor with this act of theft.

It is to be worth noted that he accused Pakistani team for the ball tempering in 2006 during the match against England and after that Pakistan refused to play the match. The controversial umpire was also accused of the indiscrimination accusation and he retired from the cricket in 2008.
