Dhaka, the final of the BPL is played between Dhaka Dynamites and Rajshahi Kings in which Dhaka Dynamites defeated Rajshahi Kings by 56 runs. This was the thrilling and most exciting match. Rajshahi Kings won the toss and invited Dhaka Dynamites to play first and Dhaka scored 159 runs in the 20 allotted overs. Now Rajshahi Kings got the target of 160 runs to win this final match between Rajshahi Kings and Dhaka Dynamites.
Evan Lewis scored 45 runs and Kumar Sangakkara scored 36 runs, Farhad Raza got three wickets while Crisk Williams, Mehdi Hassan Mirza, Afif Hussain, Darren Sammy and Somit Patel claimed one wicket each. In response to Dhaka Dynamites, Rajshahi Kings was out on just 103 runs in just 17.4 overs. Momin ul Haq scored 27 runs, Sabir Rehman scored 26 and Somit Patel scored 17 runs. Sangakkara was declared the man of the match on his brilliant performance in the final match of BPL.
