The parliamentary committee was told by PCB’s CEO Subhan Ahmed that as compared to Pak v India match, there were more views for PSL final match in Lahore.
The CEO explained that the TV rating during Pak v India match remained 10 while it increased to 21 during PSL 2 final match. The decision to organize PSL 2 in Lahore remained successful while total 9 foreign players were playing this match.
The CEO further told that total 8 matches of PSL 3 will be played in Pakistan out of which Lahore and Karachi will host 4 matches each. He told that total 5 cricketers were suspended in spot fixing case out of which 1 has been punished and investigation is in progress against 4 other players. National Crime Agency is investigating against Nasir Jamshed in England due to which he can’t come to Pakistan.
