Lahore, The Chief Selector, Inzamam ul Haq said that Pakistani cricket team is facing the lack of good all rounder. He also welcomed the decision of retirement from Misbah ul Haq and Younis Khan. He also said that the shortage of these two senior most players will be felt badly in the team.
The chief selector talked with media in Lahore and said that there is shortage of good all rounder in the team and Pakistani team do not have the good all rounders just like Azhar Mahmood and Abdul Razzaq. However, Sarfaraz Ahmed is good wicket keeper and he should concentrate on the wicket keeping.
He said that West Indian team is very promising team and Pakistani players should not take them easily. If Pakistan lost one match, then it is nothing but they should concentrate on further matches to win the remaining matches. He hopes that Pakistani team will come back in the series. He keeps an eye on the previous performances of the players at the time of selection of the team and the necessity of the player in the team is also considered. It was not an easy chance to give chance to 7 or 8 players in a series and they were selected on their performances.
