For this final test match, Pakistan included M Hafeez and M Tulha in place of Taufeeq Umar and Ahsaan Adil. In other players, there are Shaan Masood, Azhar Ali, Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq, Asad Shafiq, Sarfraz Ahmed, Yasir Shah, Zulfiqar Babar and Rahat Ali. In the Kiwis side, experienced all-rounder Daniel Vettori made a place and now he became the cricketer who played most test matches for New Zealand.
National team is batting first after winning toss. M Hafeez and Shaan Masood started batting for Pakistan. Shaan Masood was dismissed by Mark Craig at individual score of 12 and total score of 44. An 87 runs partnership between Hafeez and Azhar Ali was also broken by Mark Craig when at the score of 131 Azhar lost his wicket after making 39 runs.
The in-form Younis Khan could not last long and lost his wicket to Daniel Vitory for 5 runs. During that, Hafeez also scored his century. M Hafeez and Misbah are at the crease now.
