Pakistan Cricket Board has announced Rs. 5 lakh cash prizes for each player of the 16-member winning Pakistani team who beat Australia in test series. Top performers Misbah-ul-Haq and Younis Khan each will get Rs. 1 million extra while Ahmed Shahzad and Zulfiqar Babar each will achieve Rs. 5 lakh extra.
According to details, PCB Chairman said that every player should be encouraged over victory against Australia. Clearing the situation about Misbah’s captaincy has worked well and it will help in World Cup and other events. He announced cash prize of Rs. 5 lakh for every player of 16-member squad on white washing Australia.
Captain Misbah-ul-Haq and Younis Khan will get Rs. 1 million each for best performance while Zulfiqar Babar and Azhar Ali will be given Rs. 5 lakh extra. Ahmed Shahzad and Sarfaraz Ahmed each will achieve Rs. 7.5 lakh total while Yasir Shah will also get Rs. 1 lakh more for good bowling. Head Coach Waqar Younis, Manager Moin Khan, other coaches and the helper staff will also get Rs. 3 lakh each. Total Rs. 1 crore 47 lakh and 50 thousand will be distributed among the players.
