After organizing men’s events abroad, now the Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to host the women cricket team abroad. First time, PCB will conduct Sri Lankan women series in UAE. Now Pakistani women will play matches in Sharjah. PCB has appointed Sana Mir the skipper of women’s team. Three ODIs and three T20s will be played between Pakistan and Sri Lankan women team from 7th to 18th January 2015. 3 one days are the qualifying round for ICC Women’s one day Championship. Following are the players of Pakistani team; Sana Mir, Nain Fatima, Bismah Maroof, Nida Rashid, Javeria Wadud, Sania Iqbal, Marina Iqbal, Sidra Nawaz, Asmavia Iqbal, Qanita Jalil, Sumaiya Siddiqui, Sadia Yousaf, Kainat Imtiaz, Naheeda Bibi, Irum Javed and Naila Nazeer. The other members include Aisha Ashar (Manager), Mohtashim Rasheed (Coach), Ibrar Ahmed (Trainer) and Rifat Gul (physiotherapist). Chief Operating Officer of PCB, Subhan Ahmed, says that Pakistani women’s team is performing well day by day and it has improved its world ranking.
