Lahore, Pakistan Cricket Board stopped Muhammad Asif and Salman Butt to play domestic cricket and T20 cricket. Both the players were released yesterday from the spot fixing scandal and they get the concession in their punishment from the ICC. According to the media, both the players were released from the punishment yesterday after completing their 5years ban from the domestic and international cricket. When this news was spread and confirmed then Lahore City cricket Association announced to include both players in their team. But the sources of the PCB forbade LCCA not to include these players in their team. PCB has also warned both players that they should wait for the decision of PCB and they should avoid to play cricket from any side until they receive any decision from PCB to play cricket.
Salman Butt talked with media and said that PCB supported both players in removing their ban and now they want to forget their past and they want to resume their cricket career and want to play for Pakistan. They said that the young players should learn the lesson from them and they should avoid such problems. The three players were caught in the spot fixing scandal in 2010, when they were playing the test match against England and they were charged with 10 years ban on Salman, 7 years ban on Asif and 5 years ban on Muhammad Amer.
