Sachin Tendulkar Ambassador of ICC world cup 2015

International Cricket Council has made former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar as the ambassador for world cup 2015.

ICC has made Tendulkar ambassador for the 2nd time while before that he was also the ambassador for previous ODI world cup 2011. Sachin Tendulkar will promote the upcoming world cup which will start from 14th February in Australia and New Zealand. Cricket world cup is known as the 3rd biggest event in the world.

Sachin Tendulkar took retirement from cricket last year while he played 200 test matches during his 24 year long career in which he scored 15921 runs including 51 centuries and 68 fifties. Also in 463 ODIs, Tendulkar made 18426 runs with 49 hundreds and 96 fifties while his highest score is 200 n.o.

Tendulkar only played 1 T20 in his career in which he scored 10 runs.
