In Bangladesh Premiere League, Shahid Afridi brought another victory for his team Rangpur Riders with his all round performance and Barisal Bulls had to face defeat with 12 runs in a close match. In another match, Dhaka Dynamites defeated Chittagong Vikings by 19 runs.
According to details, Rangpur Riders scored 175 for 6 while batting first. M Mithun (62) and Liam Dawson (46) remained top scorers while Shahid Afridi scored 22 runs in just 10 balls. He hit 2 sixes and 1 four. Taijul Islam and T Perera took 2 wickets each.
In reply, Barisal Bulls lost all its wickets for 163 runs in 19.4 overs. Jeevan Mendis (57) and Nadif Chowdhary (41) remained top scorers while Afridi took wickets of both these players. Sohag Gazi took 3 wickets. In the first match of the day, Dhaka Dynamites scored 148 runs in 1st innings and Chittagong team could only score 129 runs in reply.
