West Indies beats Australia by 4 Wickets in Triangular series 2016

The triangular series is being played in West Indies in which West Indies, Australia and South Africa are being played. In the 5th match of the triangular series, host West Indies beat Australia by four wickets. This match was played in the Wanner Park, Saint Kitts.

The West Indian team won the toss and it invited the guest team, Australia to play first and they made 265 runs on the loss of seven wickets in allotted 50 years. From the Australian side, Usman Khawaja scored 98 runs, and Captain Steve Smith and George Belly scored 745 and 55 runs respectively. From the West Indian side, Jason Holder, Carlos Brathwaite and Keiron Pollard took two wickets each.

When the turn of West Indies came, they played well and they achieved the target of 266 runs for 6 wickets in just 45.4 overs. From the West Indian side, Marilyn Samuels scored 92 runs and Jonathan Charles scored 48 runs and they helped their team to win this match against Australia. The next match of this triangular series will be played between West Indies and South Africa on 15 June 2016. In this series, West Indies and Australia won 2 matches each while South Africa won one match.
