Whitewashed Australia beat Pakistan by 220 Runs in Sydney Test

Sydney, Pakistan and Australia played the three test matches in the current tour to Australia series, in which Australia won all three test matches with the convincing margins. Australia won the third and final test match at Sydney by the margin of 220 runs and won the series by 3-0 on Saturday.

Pakistan Cricket Team is still in the crisis since last two months and Pakistan will have to play the test series against South Africa at their home ground. The tourists showed great fight at different times in the test match and the guest team faced the target of 465 runs to make so that they could win this match. Pakistan reached to the top position in the test cricket last year but it could not maintain its position after defeating in the six straight test matches, in which one test match against West Indies, two against New Zealand and three against Australia. The touring team had been on the back foot from the first day of the test match and Australia played aggressively and they did not take any pressure of the tourist team. David Warner scored 113 runs, Renshaw scored 184 and Peter Handscomb scored 110 runs in the first inning and Australia managed 538 for 8 runs declared the first inning. Pakistani bowlers were looking tired in the first inning and they failed to get the timely wicket and Australia piled up the runs.

Pakistani batting squad was not impressive as they did not show the upto the marks performance, which was expected from them during this series. They scored 315 runs in which master batsman, Younis Khan scored 175 runs and he remained not out but Pakistani team remained 223 runs behind the total score and Australia did not follow on Pakistan to continue their second inning and they started their second inning. They played aggressively and scored 241 runs for just two wickets and give the total target of 465 runs to Pakistan to win this test match. This was the crucial target and Pakistan failed to achieve it and it team was out just for 244 about 220 runs behind the target. Younis khan scored 13 more runs in the second inning and he is 23 runs from 10,000 runs haul and he will be the first Pakistani batsmen, who reached to this high individual score in the test cricket. Australian bowlers like Mitchell Starc, O’Keefe, Lyon and Josh Hazlewood have showed their best performance and they contributed in the victory of their Australian team.

Mistiming Misbah

Pakistan skipper reaches to the age of 42 years and does he decide to get the retirement. He will not want to get the retirement from test cricket and he mistimed his retirement as he does not feel convenience to play the looped in the air ball of Lyon on the crease.
