According to the details, during the boxing day test in Melbourne, the blood samples of Yasir Shah and Azhar Ali were taken and the report of the dope test conducted on the third day of the ongoing test match between Pakistan and Australia will be received within two weeks. Yasir Shah seems the special target of this activity. His first blood sample was taken during the one day match in Abu Dhabi of the one day series against England in November 2015 and the use of prohibited medicines was proved through his blood sample.
Yasir Shah opted that he took the medicine of blood pressure of his wife mistakenly and the dope test was found positive. ICC gave him the benefit of doubt and it gave the concession to Pakistan leg spinner and they announced the punishment of ban from the international cricket for only three months. He was deprived of participation in the world T20, which was scheduled in India. His other blood sample was taken during June this year during tour to England but no use of prohibited medicine was received.
The sources said that the leg spinner is very careful after his first mistake and there is no chance of the problems. According to the team management, the dope tests are the part of the usual activity under the ICC rules. Any cricketer across the world can be asked for the blood sample to carry out the dope test.
