Zurich, Cristiano Ronaldo is the leading and popular footballer and he is named for the best men footballer of FIFA for 2016 on Monday. He got the latest prize for the glittering year for his country, Portugal and Real Madrid.
Ronaldo defeated Antonio Greizmann of France and the Barcelona rival, Lionel Messi of Argentine to get this wonderful honor.
Ronaldo won this wonderful achievement, Ballon d’Or after third title of Champions League and he scored 16 goals in the 12 matches and he also got the success with Portugal at Euro 2016, the first major prize of the country.
He said that 2016 was the best year for him and he received his prize from FIFA president Gianni Infantino. During this year, he got tremendous achievements at the personal and sports level as he shared it on the stage in Zurich. This is the great honor for him and it made him the first man to win the FIFA best player.
The governing body of World football launched this wonderful new award series, when he ended the six years long collaboration for Ballon d’Or with France Football magazine.
