International Cricket Council has revealed the Asia Cup 2018 schedule and all of the teams will have to play two ODIs on the consecutive days. This mega event is played after every two years and now this event, Asia Cup 2018 will be started from 15 September in UAE. The main participants of the mega event will be Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan. The opening match of the event will be played on 15 September 2018 between Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka. There will be some other teams including UAE, Nepal, Hong Kong, Singapore, Oman and Malaysia.
The group A is added with India, Pakistan, and the qualifier and the group B will be added with Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the super 4 ad two teams will play the final of the event on 28 September in Dubai.
India is the defending champion and it will face Pakistan on 19 September and after the opening match against the as yet confirmed qualifiers.
