Misbah ul Haq has also supported the decision of dropping Ahmed Shahzad and Umar Akmal from the team. He said while replying a question during press conference in Edgbaston that team is more important than player. Every cricketer should remain in the limit of discipline. It is player’s responsibility to remain ready mentally and physically to show fitness and performance. There is no problem to put him or any other player outside the team if he could not completes the requirements for team.
It should be noted that initially Ahmed Shahzad and Umar Akmal were dropped from test series against England due to discipline and now both the players are also not invited in the camp for ODI series also.
