Palekelle, Indian wicket keeper batsman, Mahindra Singh Dhoni has equalized the second record of the Sri Lankan leading batsman, Kumar Sangakkara in a series.
MS Dhoni is playing the current series against Sri Lankan in their home grounds and he completed his 65th fifty of his one day career in the third one day international match. It is his 18th fifty against Sri Lanka. Before this, Sangakkara has the record of most fifties against one team in the one day international matches, which he made against India. Dhoni has also completed the 99 one day stumping and equalized the record of Sangakkara. It was the record of Sandakkara in the one day international which Dhoni has equalized in the second ODI in this current series.
