Astro Turf Cricket Stadium in Baluchistan
Now the first ever Astro Turf cricket stadium has been unveiled in Pakistan in Chaman, Balochistan on Friday. Pakistan First Astro Turf Cricket Stadium in Baluchistan. The commander of Southern Command, Lt Gen Asim Saleem Bajwa has inaugurated this stadium and this stadium was officially handed over to the cricket association. It is worth noted that there are some other Astro Turf grounds in Pakistan but no other stadium is dedicated to cricket.

The local teams, Qilla Abdullah XI took on the AstroTurf pitch as part of the inauguration and more cricket matches will be held on this ground in future. The ground has three stands but the management has shown the interest to expand the capacity of the stadium later on.
