Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to fill the place of bowling coach with Mushtaq Ahmed and Azhar Mehmood while Steve Rixon is expected to be the fielding coach.
During test series against England, PCB has given the task of improving the performance of bowlers to Mushtaq Ahmed and Azhar Mehmood and both will be the bowling coaches of Pakistan while Steve Rixon will be made the new fielding coach but the final decision will be taken after few days.
According to board sources, leg spinner Mushtaq Ahmed will assist chief coach Mickey Arthur during test matches against England while Azhar Mehmood will perform the services of bowling coach during 5 ODI matches. According to sources, the board wished to sign a full time contract with Azhar Mehmood but Azhar will only work with the team during ODI matches due to his busy schedule in county cricket.
