Karachi, The arrangements are finalized to make Pakistan Super League a company. The suggestion will be presented in the PCB governing body meeting for approval, which will be held on 03 May. During this meeting, the new cricket committee comprising of the cricketers will be made and other issues will also bring under consideration.
According to the detail, the meeting of Governing Body will be called on 03 May in Lahore and during this meeting the briefing will be given to make PSL a post event and the suggestion will be presented to make it a company. After getting the approval, other details will be settled. The PSL Company will be separate from the PCB and new staff will be appointed in it. They also show their intention that this company will be registered in Stock Exchange. In the previous General Body meeting, it was decided about PSL that this event was conducted in UAE and the expenses were $9 million but the earning was double the expenses.
The sources told that this claim is not true. PCB earned profit from the event but it was not enough. In the governing body meeting, it is expected that the accounts will be presented. The new committee will be made over the cricketers and this issue will also be discussed in the meeting. Shehryar Khan will take the members into confidence over his recent initiatives including the appointment of the chief selector. He will also inform the members about the report of the investigation committee made after the defeats in the Asia Cup and World T20.
