World number 1 American tennis star Serena Williams and her sister Venus Williams have withdrew from women’s doubles matches of Australian Open. The first match of William Sisters was against Spanish player Anabel Medina and Kazakh player Yaroslava Shvedova.
The administration of Australian Open has declared the withdrawal of both the sisters from tournament but didn’t tell any reason. This pair of American sisters has won Australian Open title for four times. Both have won their all matches of first stage in the singles events.
