American Serena Williams qualified for the semi final of Australian Open after defeating Russian Maria Sharapova in straight sets. Poland’s Radwanska has also made her place in the final four.
In the quarter final of the event, played in Melbourne, Sharapova could not play well against Serena Williams who won the match in straight sets of 6-4 and 6-1.
In the second quarter final, Poland’s Radwanska easily defeated her Spanish opponent with the score of 6-1 and 6-3.
