Pakistani chief selector told that the perfect form of Umar Akmal was the reason behind picking up for the upcoming T20I series of Pakistan against West Indies. He told that he was allowed y PCB to consider about him for the tour against West Indies. The former batsman said that he has talked to him and Akmal is keen to represent Pakistan in all three formats of Pakistan.
The chief selector told that Shahid Afridi and Ahmed Shahzad were not considered due to their forma dn fitness. Whenever they showed their fitness and performance, they will also be considered for the national team.
The series against West Indies will start from September 23 for which the 15 member squad was selected by Inzamam in which middle order batsman Sad Nasim and Rumman Raees are also included. This team was finalized by Inzamam after consulting captain Sarfraz and coach Mickey Arthur.
