PCB has admitted its fault and said that cricketers will not be allowed to play in foreign leagues during national domestic matches as chief selector Inzamam says that young players can’t improve their play in the absence of star players. Strong teams and good pitches are necessary for national level matches.

According to details, PCB issued NOCs to 15 national level and experienced players for BPL despite the matches of country’s biggest domestic tournament. It’s not wrong to leave domestic tournaments for national team but selection committee is against the participation of players in foreign league during these tournaments.

According to sources, PCB chief has asked PCB not to give NOC to players for league matches during domestic tournaments. He said that talented players are not getting chance to play with other teams due to absence of international level matches in Pakistan and if experienced players don’t paly in Pakistan then play of new players can’t improve.

But players without central contract are not happy with this decision. They said that domestic tournaments provide less money and they can only get enough money through league cricket.
