With 29th consecutive win, Sania Mirza-Martina Hingis break world record

Sydney, Top Seed couple, Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis won the consecutive 29th victory in the women double final of Sydney International event. The Indian and Swiss couple played the semi final against the couple of Ralosa Olaro of Romania and Yaroslava Shavedva of Kazakistan by the margin of 6-4, 3-6, and 10-8. This semi final match was continued for one hour and 32 minutes and it was also affected with the rain. In this way, Sania and Martina broke the 22 years old record in consecutive women double victory, which was made by Gigi Fernandez of America and Natasha Zaverva of Belurusia made in 1994 by winning the continuous 28 matches.
